This was our first fully loaded day on the bikes. We packed up and said goodbye to family in Amsterdam before setting out to the The Hague. It was just a 70km day with some heavy wind – but the weight of the panniers and still tired legs from the Eleven Cities Tour hit us a bit harder than expected.
It was a terrific day nonetheless! It was so fun to ride by some of the big sites of our way out. The Dutch countryside was beautiful and we were on bike paths the whole way! The network of bike paths is incredible and they are really quite well marked. Our only confusion was outside of bigger towns, when there were so many bike path options.
Our AirBnb was really lovely and then we had time to explore the city a bit and have a fantastic dinner.
