Today was easy living! The day started with the loveliest bike. Ath through a forest. After that, we had a low key 40 mile spin along the beaches of southern Netherlands, with another ferry ride to boot. We stopped for a phenomenal lunch in Sluis, before crossing over to Belgium and ending in Bruges. We rode into the city on a path next to canal lined with enormous trees. It was a fitting entry to Bruges, a medieval city on a network of canals that’s preserved as a UNESCO world heritage site. Now, I’ve had too many doubles and fancy Belgium chocolates and I’m very content.
