We got an early start to the day in order to beat the ~98 degree highs for later in the afternoon. In an effort to recouperate from the heat and reward ourselves for staying under budget the last few days, we limited our day to 90km and planned to spend the night at Chateau Rochecotte in Saint-Patrice. 

Caitlin’s new tire clearly wasn’t as good of quality as the originals, so she had a flat tire after 10-20km of riding. After that, we managed to find a great Boulangerie/Patisserie in a small town along the way and bought a few things from the local market. We then had a short, but hot, ride to our hotel. 

The nice accommodations allowed us to rejuvenate a bit for the next day of heat.
